Like many people in West Carleton-March, I wear a number of hats. I am a wife, a mother, a business owner, a healthcare professional, and a proud community volunteer. Above all, I am someone who believes in the power of community and the importance of looking after one another.

My husband and I raised our three children here, and they spent their school years in the West Carleton area. Like many local families, we spent countless hours at schools, sports fields, community events, and cheering from the sidelines. Those experiences shaped not only our family, but also my deep appreciation for the values that make West Carleton-March such a special place to call home.

Professionally, I have spent most of my career serving others. I worked for many years in the non-profit sector and community health centres, supporting individuals and families through some of life's most challenging moments. Over the last decade, I founded and grew multidisciplinary healthcare clinics across Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley, bringing together teams dedicated to improving access to care and strengthening communities.

Giving back has always been an important part of my life. Over the years, I have volunteered throughout the community in many roles—from Sparks and Brownie leader to soccer coach, church volunteer, and supporter of the Carp Fair, the Huntley Burger, and just about every festival and community gathering you can imagine. I have always believed that strong communities are built by people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand.

I also believe deeply in supporting local businesses. Small and medium-sized businesses are the backbone of our rural communities. They create jobs, support local organizations, and contribute to the character and vitality of our villages. Having built businesses myself, I understand both the opportunities and the challenges that entrepreneurs face.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work alongside remarkable leaders and community organizations. During times of environmental crisis and hardship, I worked closely with West Carleton leaders to help bring significant funding and support into the community. Some of the most meaningful moments came not from boardrooms, but from delivering food hampers and gift cards directly to families and seeing firsthand the resilience and generosity that define our community.

People who know me know that I believe in collaboration, respectful communication, and bringing people together. Leadership is not about having all the answers; it is about listening, building relationships, and working with others to find solutions.
